Pencil Tonal Drawing…

Introduction:

At the start of the lesson, Brian explained what we will be doing in the lesson and showed us how to draw with a crate around an object. Also he showed us how to draw perspective for objects with the image below:

 

Drawing practice:

For the rest of the lesson we had to choose an object to draw which we had to draw with sketching pencils. I used 2B pencil which is the softest pencil in my set.

I decided to draw a table in the cafe in the studio cafe:

 

Summary:

I really enjoyed just sitting down and taking time to draw a piece of furniture as I love drawing. Observation drawing are vital as they can help you show a piece of furniture or object in detail to a client as it doesn’t just show the object it also shows the texture and material.
